Ethnic Minority
Medication Education Workshop
The program aims to enhance the proper medication awareness and medication management skills of ethnic minorities. By attending educational workshops hosted by registered pharmacists from ethnic minority backgrounds, participants will learn basic knowledge and medication education through medication icons. Additionally, ethnic minorities will be taught to use the “PharmCare” medication management app to establish a regular medication routine. The app will also add interfaces in five major ethnic minority languages in Hong Kong for their convenience. The program will also train pharmacy students to become workshop volunteers to better understand the needs of the ethnic minority community.
