Currently, Drug Icons are only used our collaborative medical institutions. We will continue to promote it so as to benefit more elderly, carers and ethnic minorities.
No, we all could all use Drug Icons. We have distributed a number of Drug Icon Gift Set/ Education Kit (leaflet, pillbos and stickers) to our local partners, including NGOs and medical institutions. Drug Icons are currently available in Traditional Chinese, English and Urdu. We plan to translate them into more languages for our local ethnic minorities friends.
Currently, there are 30 Drug Icons in total, categorised into 6 types. We will continue to review the existing icons and create new icons if necessary.
The Drug Icons are distributed under Creative Commons License (Attribution-No Derivative Works) You may copy, use and redistribute them for any purpose, including commercial purposes. However, no derivative works based upon it are allowed. Thus you are allowed to use the Drug Icons on the drug packages of your clinic.
We hope the programme could benefit every patient especially the elderly, ethnic minorities and their carers.
