Hina, our Urdu-speaking marketing intern, belonging to a Pakistani community introduced the Drug Icon CC project to her community.
The zoom meeting was held in Urdu to make the Pakistani community understand more about the importance of proper medical adherence among ethnic minorities.
The details of the projects were given through the talk. They were assured that these drug icons will not only help their elderlies but will also help them overcome the language barrier that most ethnic minorities face, especially when it comes to drug labels.
During the meeting, the information related to the implementation of the drug icons in the medical sectors were provided. Furthermore, participants were shown the pill boxes, icon stickers and leaflets for their proper understanding.
Countries like the US and Taiwan’s drug labels were also shown with the implementation of drug icons on the drug packaging. This showed how Hong Kong drug labels will look like with drug icons. Moreover, continuous participation of participants was very much appreciated. The Q and A section was held where the answers were given to the questions asked by our participants.
